This glass bottle cutter takes a bit of time to get used to, but once you've got the hang of it you'll be able to cut the bottle easily. It might even make you feel better about all the wine you're drinking and help you do your bit for the environment too.
How to Use:
Step 1: Adjust the machine
You simply need to adjust the size of the glass bottle cutter by loosening the screw and put the bottle to the height you want to cut. Twist tight the screw and adjust the blades position so that it could keep touching and scribing the glass while using
Step 2: Scoring
The tool is meant to create a score line on the bottle at the location where you wish to. Once the cutting wheel is at the proper location, start slowly turning the bottle. Rotate it with 1-3 times with moderate pressure and patient.
Step 3: Separation
Boil some water and pour it over the score line. After a few seconds, use a faucet to pour cold water over the score line. This cycle of hot and cold will cause the bottle to crack along the line. Thicker glass may take additional cycles.
Way 2 to Separate: Rotate the bottle and burn score line over candle flame for at least 90 seconds (thick bottles take longer), then put it in ice water and then it will crack along the score line. Thicker glass may take additional cycles.
Step 4: Finishing
Sand the edge down with Sandpaper.
Attention
1.The glass bottle must keep in no cover, no residual liquid state.
2.Maintain a safe distance and wear gloves when separate the glass bottle.
